Expo 2010, Hamburg Haus Shanghai

The city of Hamburg invested in a highly energy efficient exhibition building as part of the World Expo 2010 in Shanghai. The project was certified according to the German Energy Efficiency Standard, "Passiv Haus", and also according to the LEED Standards. The main purpose of the Hamburg Haus is to provide a showcase for advanced German building energy efficiency technologies.

The design and construction phases lasted nearly 12 months. The building was completed in April 2010 and Bencer provided the entire Project Management service.
